Covered product

The acrylic front cover, mid frame, and MACHASE standoff assemblies. Supplied screws and drywall anchors are covered only for missing or defective condition reported before installation.

How to claim

Email hello@machase.shop before the warranty expires and within 30 days after discovering the alleged defect.

Important

This is a product warranty, not insurance for cards, slabs, holders, walls, or installation. Inspect the shipment promptly, keep proof of purchase, and stop using the display if acrylic, hardware, or wall anchors become loose, cracked, or unsafe.

1 | The five-year promise

Subject to every term in this document, MACHASE warrants that the covered components will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship that materially prevent their intended indoor wall-display function during the warranty term when properly installed, used, and cared for.

  • A manufacturing-origin fracture, material separation, or substantial distortion arising under normal indoor conditions and not caused by force, installation, care, or environment.
  • A manufacturing defect in a MACHASE standoff assembly that prevents secure retention when correctly installed, gasketed, aligned, and hand-tightened only until snug.
  • A substantial fabrication error that prevents the ordered fit version from accepting a card holder that conforms to the written compatible profile in effect on the purchase date.

A covered defect must be confirmed by MACHASE after reasonable evaluation. Minor appearance variations or conditions that do not materially impair display function are not covered.

2 | Eligibility requirements

Every requirement below must be satisfied unless applicable law prohibits that requirement:

  • The product was purchased new from MACHASE or an authorized MACHASE seller and the claimant can provide the original order number, dated proof of purchase, and delivery evidence.
  • The claimant is the original retail purchaser and the product has remained in ordinary personal, family, or household indoor use.
  • The product was installed on a sound wall using fasteners and anchors suitable for the actual substrate and completed load, and the MACHASE mounting instructions were followed without overtightening or forcing alignment.
  • The correct Snap Mag, PSA, or BGS fit version was selected; the holder used conforms to the written compatible profile; and no specialty, altered, oversized, or unusually thick holder was used without prior written approval.
  • The product remains unmodified and reasonably available for photographs, video, inspection, and, if authorized, return. The alleged defect was reported during the warranty term and within 30 days after discovery.

3 | What this warranty does not cover

Cards, holders, and value

Any trading card, collectible, sleeve, magnetic case, Snap Mag case, PSA or BGS slab, label, autograph, grading result, authenticity, market value, regrading cost, fading, theft, or loss. Included third-party cases are handled for missing or delivery-damaged condition only and are not covered for five years.

Cosmetic condition and wear

Scratches, scuffs, fingerprints, dust, static attraction, polish or cleaning marks, edge chips after delivery, haze, yellowing, minor colour, clarity, or flatness variation, normal wear, or any appearance condition that does not materially prevent intended function.

Installation and wall conditions

Damage or failure caused by unsuitable anchors, screws, or substrate; weak or damaged drywall; masonry, tile, wood, or other substrate conditions; wall movement; drilling or measurement error; concealed services; incorrect hole spacing; missing or misplaced gaskets; cross-threading; overtightening; uneven tightening; insufficient support; or removal and reinstallation.

Impact, misuse, or alteration

Dropping, impact, bending, forcing a holder, excessive load, vibration, neglect, misuse, unauthorized holes or machining, modification, repair, tampering, use as a shelf, handle, toy, or load-bearing support, or damage caused by any third-party part, fastener, service, or alteration.

Cleaning and environment

Outdoor use; water, condensation, or excessive humidity; direct or prolonged sunlight or UV; excessive heat, flame, cold, or rapid temperature change; glass cleaner, ammonia, alcohol, acetone, solvents, abrasives, paper towel, adhesive residue, or any non-acrylic-safe cleaner; fire, flood, storm, vandalism, pests, or other external event.

Fit and third-party variability

An incorrect or interchangeable-fit assumption; a holder outside the stated profile; changes a third-party manufacturer makes to holder dimensions, magnets, plastics, or labels; incompatibility with specialty, altered, damaged, oversized, or unusually thick holders; or damage caused by forcing any holder into the mid frame.

Source and commercial use

Used, second-hand, auction, counterfeit, prototype, sample, factory-second, rental, resale, public-exhibition, unattended commercial, or incorporated-product use unless MACHASE expressly extended written coverage to that specific product and use.

Using a third-party service or fastener does not by itself cancel coverage; this warranty excludes only the defect or damage caused by that service, fastener, or other excluded condition.

4 | How to make a warranty claim

  1. Stop use and prevent further damage. If the display, acrylic, standoff, or wall appears loose, cracked, or unsafe, remove valuable cards if safe to do so, support the assembly, and stop using it.
  2. Email the complete claim. Contact hello@machase.shop before expiry and within 30 days after discovery. Include the purchaser name, order number, seller, delivery date, model or layout, holder-fit version, date discovered, and a clear description.
  3. Provide evidence. Include clear photographs or video of the full display, alleged defect, all four mounting points, wall surface, standoffs, gaskets, holders, and packaging when shipping damage may be involved.
  4. Preserve the product. Do not discard, destroy, return, or ship any part without written authorization.
  5. Follow return instructions. If a return is authorized, use the supplied authorization and packaging directions and send only the requested item.
  6. Receive the decision. MACHASE will assess the complete claim reasonably and notify the claimant whether the claim is covered and which remedy applies.

5 | Claim administration

A claim is complete only when MACHASE has received the information and evidence reasonably needed to assess cause, eligibility, and remedy. A claim number, troubleshooting message, inspection, or possession of a returned item is not an admission of defect or coverage. Approval must be confirmed in writing. The purchaser must take reasonable steps to prevent additional damage and preserve relevant evidence. MACHASE may deny a claim containing a knowing and material misrepresentation, altered evidence, or fraudulent proof of purchase, to the extent permitted by law.

6 | Exclusive limited-warranty remedies

For a confirmed covered defect, MACHASE will, at its option and as permitted by law, repair the affected component, replace it with the same model or a new or functionally equivalent substitute, or refund the original purchase price actually paid for the affected product or a reasonable portion attributable to an affected component.

MACHASE is not required to replace an entire set, matched installation, wall finish, card, holder, or other unaffected property because one component is repaired or replaced. A full refund may be conditioned on return of the product and ends coverage for that product.

7 | Shipping, labour, and replacement coverage

MACHASE will pay reasonable, pre-authorized shipping required to provide a covered remedy. The purchaser is responsible for safe removal, packing, reinstallation, wall repair, finishing, expedited service, unauthorized shipping, and costs of a non-covered claim, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. A repaired or replacement component is covered for the longer of the unexpired balance of the original five-year term or 90 days after delivery.

8 | Definitions

Covered product
The MACHASE-manufactured acrylic front cover, acrylic mid frame, and MACHASE standoff assemblies identified on the original order.
Material defect
A manufacturing-origin condition that substantially prevents the covered product from performing its intended indoor wall-display function; not ordinary wear, cosmetic variation, or an excluded cause.
Normal indoor use
Personal, family, or household wall-display use in a dry, temperature-controlled interior, with reasonable handling, suitable mounting, and acrylic-safe care.
Compatible profile
The written holder type and dimensional profile stated for the ordered Snap Mag, PSA, or BGS fit version on the purchase date. Fit versions are not interchangeable.

9 | Warranty and liability limitations

No UV or security guarantee

MACHASE displays present collectibles; they do not provide guaranteed UV protection, climate control, fire or water protection, theft protection, impact protection, archival preservation, or insurance.

Implied warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranty or condition, including merchantability, satisfactory quality, or fitness for a particular purpose, is limited in duration to the five-year term of this written limited warranty. MACHASE does not disclaim or limit an implied warranty or condition where doing so is prohibited.

Incidental, indirect, and consequential loss

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MACHASE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss, loss of use, lost profit or revenue, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or loss, damage, diminution, or regrading cost of any card, collectible, holder, slab, wall, finish, or other property, even if MACHASE was advised that such loss was possible.

Maximum liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MACHASE's aggregate liability arising from or relating to a product will not exceed the original purchase price actually paid for that product. Nothing in this document excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. In those jurisdictions, the affected limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted and the purchaser may have additional rights.

10 | Statutory rights and governing law

This warranty gives specific contractual rights and is additional to rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer or product-liability law. Subject to those mandatory rights, Ontario law and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario govern, and the parties submit to Ontario courts of competent jurisdiction. A consumer retains any non-waivable right to proceed elsewhere.

11 | Complete warranty; changes; severability

This document, the order confirmation, and written product-specific fit and installation instructions are the complete written limited warranty. No dealer, installer, reseller, employee, advertisement, social-media post, or oral statement may change it; an exception must be issued in writing by an authorized MACHASE representative. The version supplied with the product or published on the purchase date governs. Future revisions apply prospectively. Non-enforcement once is not a waiver; an unenforceable provision is limited as necessary and the remainder continues in effect.
